When the pandemic hit, like many people, I found myself with a lot of extra time on my hands. I was looking for something to occupy my mind and give me a sense of purpose, and that's when my husband gifted me an embroidery machine. At first, I wasn't sure what to do with it. I had never used an embroidery machine before and didn't really know where to start. But I soon discovered that there was a whole world of possibilities waiting for me. I started experimenting with different designs and patterns, and before long, I was hooked. I loved the way the machine could transform simple materials into something beautiful and unique. And I loved the sense of accomplishment I felt when I finished a project. Before I knew it, I was upgrading to a larger machine and taking on more complex projects. I created everything from custom monogrammed towels to personalized tote bags and even embroidered portraits. And with each project, I was improving my skills and learning new techniques. One of the things I love most about embroidery is that it's both beautiful and useful. I can create something that not only looks great but also serves a practical purpose. And during the pandemic, when so many people were looking for ways to make their homes feel more comfortable and inviting, my embroidered creations were in high demand. Looking back on the past year, I never would have imagined that I would be running my own embroidery business. But sometimes, the most unexpected circumstances can lead us down the path to our greatest passions. And for me, embroidery has become not just a hobby or a business, but a true source of joy and fulfillment.
